This piece was from an early morning in October in Quang Ba flower market. The market supplies flowers in wholesale for the whole city, and its time is from 11pm to 6 am. Visiting the market at mid-night or early in the morning is an exquisite experience, even for the city’s locals. Each season is featured by a typical flower of Hanoi . October is the time of white daisies (nightingale daisies as we mean them in Vietnamese). Retailers, most of whom are women, will bring these white beauty on their bikes or motorbikes to every corner of the city, reminding us that the fall is coming.
